HSPVA families and friends are invited to join us on Saturday, July 22 at 5pm for the annual summer gallery opening reception at  The Jung Center of Houston, Texas , hosted by the  Art Guild , a part of HSPVA Friends . The annual Jung Center Opening Reception is an especially great opportunity for incoming Visual Arts students and parents to make new friends and for returning students and parents to reconnect. We look forward to seeing you there! The HSPVA exhibition will be on view at the Jung Center from July 20-August 29, 2017.

A New HSPVA Logo for A New Era

With the long-awaited new campus set to open in January 2019, the move presented the perfect opportunity for a refresh! HSPVA’s brand has been going strong for almost half a century. We all know that logo use has evolved tremendously since 1971. From websites, social media, and videos to presentations, playbills, and signage, the school needs a look that works seamlessly across all platforms while representing HSPVA ’s past, present, and future.

Congratulations to HSPVA’s 2018 YoungArts Winners!

Out of 757 YoungArts Winners from 47 states, 14 winners are currents students or alumni of The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts! The National YoungArts Foundation  was established in 1981 to celebrate emerging young artists and provide them with professional development and educational experiences with renowned mentors in their fields. Additionally, YoungArts Winners are eligible for nomination as a  U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts , one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.
